It was developed by Oxide, the developer of the Oxide games Red Dead Redemption, Red Dead Redemption: Red River, Red Dead Redemption: Brotherhood, Red Dead Redemption: Red Zone, Red Dead Redemption, Red Dead Redemption II and Red Dead Redemption: Frontier. Red Dead Redemption is a cross-platform survival game for iOS, Android and Xbox 360 and was originally released for the iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad on August 12, 2008.

For many years the games of Mario and Tetris were the centerpieces of the hobby. Since those games were first released in the 1980s, countless others have followed suit. A large portion of these games is simply a way of making the task of playing a game a little easier. They aren’t challenging—they are more like learning how to hold a pencil. In many of these games, players will have to remember which button to push in order to advance. The more the button is pressed, the more points are scored.

This means players will try to push as many buttons as they can in a row, to the point of fatigue. And so the cycle will continue. As such, the demand for more challenging games is growing.

We have always designed the games to have some sort of plot that will keep players engaged. We are not concerned with having many plot lines, but rather telling a story that will keep players thinking. This keeps the players entertained, but also keeps them guessing as to what the next game is going to be like.

Our first game was released in 2004, followed by three more games in 2006, 2008 and 2011. We are still working on a fourth game at this time. The majority of the game are still in progress, so we are continuing to grow the team, add new features and make sure we stay on top of all of our features.
