Qualification:
- Applicants who have completed B.E, Degree or equivalent from a recognized Institute for Asian Development Bank Recruitment 2018.
Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership in all Governance TG technical and operational matters (including on PSM), taking the lead in contributing new or innovative approaches to policy and operational issues.
- Lead the mainstreaming of the governance theme in ADB Operations
- Lead the Bank-wide work on PSM, in collaboration with Heads of Departments and Directors in regional departments
- Foster and drive innovation, thought leadership, and future looking Bank-wide initiatives to help develop future business.
- Promote best practices and knowledge, by bringing in global/regional best practices to ADB and promoting ADB’s best practices externally.
- Develop external knowledge partnerships that will contribute to stronger and more informed focus on ADB’s work in governance and PSM.
- Lead and facilitate effective Governance TG coordination and cooperation with other TGs and SGs, departments and internal stakeholders.
- Facilitate (in collaboration with Operations VPs) interdepartmental mobilization of staff resources as required, including identifying projects/programs which require interdepartmental teams.
- Manage global/regional partnerships (donors, private sector, academia, CSO and development community).
- Lead collaboration across ADB and with partners drawing on robust professional networks.
Manage the budget and resource allocation of the TG, and contribute to the recruitment and talent management of governance and PSM specialists across the Bank.
